Focus is on Expanding B2B and B2G Markets for Protecting Credit Card Data through Tokenization

CHANTILLY, Va - March 16, 2010 - 3Delta Systems, Inc.® (3DSI), a leader in online credit card payment solutions, today announced the promotion of Rick Ricker to vice president of business development for enterprise payment solutions. He had served as 3DSI's director of operations since 2000.

In his newly created executive position, Ricker will be responsible for growing the corporate and government markets for CardVault®, 3Delta Systems' innovative payment tokenization service that lets businesses safely accept and process credit cards online, then protects that data from internal and external threats aimed at stealing confidential customer information. He will also focus on enhancing the company's channel partner services for enterprise customers in the business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-government (B2G) sectors.

"Rick has done an exceptional job for 3Delta Systems as head of operations and, with his deep understanding of our markets, customer base and systems, is ideally suited for this key management role," said Aaron Bills, founder and chief operating officer of 3Delta Systems. "With more fraudsters on the prowl for corporate payment card data, and as large data breaches heighten the need for and cost of complying with Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards, we've seen increasing demand for CardVault."

"Our customers receive unsurpassed security against data breaches because actual credit card and purchase card account numbers are replaced with values that are meaningless to hackers and identity thieves," Bills explained. "And, by removing confidential cardholder information from their internal systems and remotely storing it at our state-of-the-art data center, CardVault substantially minimizes our customers' PCI liability and costs associated with processing, transmitting and storing that data."

"Given the importance of this function, 3DSI's unwavering commitment to delivering the best in online payment processing and security technology to our customers, and the sizable business opportunity for protecting card data through tokenization, Rick is precisely the right executive to strengthen our leadership position in today's marketplace," Bills added.

"It's been my privilege to help 3Delta Systems realize significant growth opportunities over the past decade, including securing major enterprise clients such as Hill-Rom, U.S. Foodservice and U.S. Plastic Corporation," Ricker said. "I look forward to even greater success as more companies and government agencies understand the significant security capabilities, card processing efficiencies and cost savings that are possible with CardVault and 3DSI's suite of payment solutions."

Ricker has more than 25 years of operations, marketing and finance experience in the federal government, real estate and card processing industries. While director of operations, he helped develop the product delivery, sales and billing infrastructure for 3Delta Systems' B2B and B2G customers, built channel market strategies and developed strategic partner alliances. He also managed customer service and product implementation.

Ricker holds an undergraduate degree in marketing from Boston's Northeastern University and an MBA in finance from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
