Payments Industry Veteran Brings Operations, Compliance and System Design Expertise
Chantilly, VA – July 21, 2009 – 3Delta Systems, Inc.® (3DSI), a leader in online credit card payment solutions,
announced today that Pete Hamel has been appointed to a newly created executive management position as vice
president of platform delivery. Hamel will be responsible for 3Delta Systems’ technical operations, compliance,
system design, maintenance and support as well as business development.
“Pete’s background and experience are superbly suited to his new role at 3DSI, having managed the development
and growth of the payment industry’s first Level-3 processor,” said Aaron Bills, founder and chief operating

With more than 20 years in the electronic payments industry, Hamel has held a variety of senior positions with
industry notables over the past 15 years. His background ranges from product strategy and development,
operations and interchange management to Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS)
compliance, disaster recovery and business continuity. Hamel also has extensive experience with change
management, strategic planning, business and project management.
Before joining 3DSI, Hamel was vice president of operations and corporate security officer for PE Systems LLC
in Spokane, Washington. While there, he managed a staff of 19 financial analysts who investigated merchant
processing accounts to achieve cost savings by improving credit card interchange qualifications. As corporate
security officer, he ensured PCI compliance while managing all security-related documents, policies and
procedures.
Previously, Hamel held senior level product strategy and development positions with ExaDigm, NBS
Technologies, Concord EFSnet (First Data Corporation), eBill and Modular Data (Global Payments).
Hamel holds a B.A. in speech and business communications from California State University in Fullerton, CA.
