New State-of-the-Art Data Center is Outgrowth of 3DSI’s Commitment to Credit Card Security and Technology Excellence
Chantilly, VA – October 28, 2008 – 3Delta Systems, Inc. (www.3DSI.com), a leader in online credit card payment solutions, announced today that an independent auditor has recertified 3DSI’s business processes, systems and controls for compliance with the Payment Card Industry's Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) for the fifth year in a row. The recertification also encompasses 3Delta Systems’ new state-of-the-art data center that houses the company’s advanced electronic payment network infrastructure.

The PCI Data Security Standards (www.pcisecuritystandards.org) are the payment industry’s foremost benchmark for cardholder account security, and 3Delta Systems is one of only 484 organizations worldwide to be recognized as PCI DSS compliant. The standards were first established by the PCI Security Standards Council in 2006 to provide all merchants and organizations that process, store or transmit payment card data with strong technical and operational requirements for safeguarding cardholder data. These standards encompass 12 core requirements covering security management, policies, procedures, network architecture, software design and other protective measures. The major credit card brands – American Express, Discover Financial Services, JCB International, MasterCard Worldwide and Visa Inc. – established the Council to foster increased payment data security through global adoption of the PCI DSS and provide high levels of protection against data theft and fraud.
